MAJOR WORK ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
- Minercon International Inc.
- Spearheaded the development of strategic directions for the company leading to the increase
in the activities and revenues for the company. Focused the company to more sustainable
and responsible consulting for the industries being served such as the mining and metals
industry - Conducted technico-economic due diligence on a nickel mine and nickel processing facility
leading to the grant of Dollar loan facility from a multinational financial institution for the
company. - Conducted technico-economic studies for a ferronickel facility leading to its restoration and
re-operation.
- FA Metals Corporation
- Improved the national presence of one of its international partner companies in the country
by about 10 times over a period of 3 years.
- Sacramento Steel Corporation
- Successfully rehabilitated and restored the operations of the PhP800-Million Speciality
Steel Plant and achieved optimum productivity - Successfully designed and set up a hot dip galvanizing facility from ground-up,
commissioning and operations
- National Steel Corporation
- Established a Php32 Million Research and Development group in the company and in the
region in 1986. - Spearheaded the process engineering and automation of the various mills of the company
- Spearheaded the development of new products in the company
- Spearheaded various studies on energy utilization and efficiency improvements leading to
various awards for the company - Spearheaded various studies and implementation of improvements on environmental
preservation and management in the various plants of the company. - Headed the engineering and technology management group at the time the company was
undergoing expansion such as the USD300Million Hot Rolling Mill.
- Bureau of Mines
- Led the projects on the production of high temperature refractories from magnesite,
chromite and clay; the recovery of iron from low-grade laterite tails; and processing of
laterite ores for the recovery of iron and nickel.

- Independent Consulting
- Conducted technico-economic studies and feasibility studies including a pre-FS on an
integrated Iron and Steel Facility using a noble iron and steelmaking technology with
capability to generate its own electricity using off-gases from the processes. - Sits in the technical panel of DOST-PCIEERD in the evaluation of industry and academic
research projects on minerals processing, rare earth elements, EV materials, and mining
industry subject matters such as researches on AMD, mine waste minimization and
utilization, tailings disposal, etc. - Sits in the Technical Panel for Engineering and Technology (TPET) of CHED and
participates in the reviews of CMOs of the different engineering programs.
